Form Springs

Form springs can be designed in a wide variety of shapes and configurations. However, sharp bends and small diameters make their production more difficult and significantly reduce their service life.

In form spring design, it is highly recommended to use larger diameters and gentle bending radii to improve both durability and manufacturability.

Form springs are commonly used to perform their function with minimal deformation in:

  • Electrical devices and components,

  • Mechanical assemblies,

  • As retaining, clamping, or fastening elements such as clips, rings, or pins.
